Flamingo is recruiting:  Experienced and creative PR professional required on freelance or part-time basis.

Flamingo is a specialist visitor attraction marketing agency. Based in Cornwall but working with UK wide leisure clients we are currently looking for a new member to join our small, networked team:

With proven experience of developing media strategies and securing effective coverage. You will have a can do approach and excellent understanding of the media, not to mention exemplary writing skills.

A flexible approach will be required as you’ll find yourself writing copy for websites, organising photo-shoots, securing competitions, arranging familiarisation visits to developing and implementing social media to support campaigns or selling in features to national media.

It is essential that your experience includes placing features and articles into national press and consumer magazines, regional newspapers, trade magazines, and online platforms.

You will be working on a variety of leisure accounts primarily visitor attractions from around the UK.

As part of a dynamic and committed specialist team, this is the perfect project for anyone who wants to make an impact. You will ideally need to have gained experience in an agency working on travel and/or consumer brands.
