Flamingo delighted with lights success
We are celebrating the successful launch of the Raymond Gubbay Christmas light trails at some iconic locations throughout the UK including; Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Dunham Massey – National Trust and Blenheim Palace.
It’s been a hectic two weeks for the Flamingo team who have been on the road and working at the locations, however, also very rewarding. We are pleased to see coverage in a number of publications such as The Daily Telegraph, The Sun, Birmingham Mail, Mirror Online, Group Leisure and more. The team were also especially delighted to hear sales for the Birmingham Botanical Gardens light trail soar shortly after a broadcast on TV!
The success of the light trails has been growing each year, as have the light trails themselves. This year saw a scented fire garden at Dunham Massey – National Trust, a fibre optic waterfall at Blenheim Palace that flowed gently into the Great Lake and a pea light tunnel with a mistletoe moment at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
Visitors can also complete their Christmas treat under the stars with spiced cider, mulled wine or hot chocolate whilst the aroma of roasting chestnuts fills the air. Gather to toast their own marshmallows and enjoy the light trail locations well stocked gift shops and other traditional fare. For the young ones, and the young at heart, there are a number of traditional fairground rides. Whilst at Blenheim visitors can expect a glimpse of Santa’s bustling Toy Factory inside the boathouse perched above the Great Lake.
The team have really enjoyed working these events and look forward to next year, we’re definitely in the Christmas spirit now!
